The Teen Project
The Teen Project is dedicated to young women who are victims of trauma, wards of the juvenile dependency system, emancipated minors (homeless and incarcerated) and Commercially Sexually Exploited Children. Our services are covered by Medi-Cal through the Orange County Health Agency & Social Services Agency. Our clientele are primarily young women and pregnant women 15 – 26 years old. We provide drug treatment, intensive therapy, vocational training and transition to permanency.
Truckers and Human Trafficking
Human trafficking, or the illegal movement of people, often for sex or labor, is a $32 billion industry that often goes undetected. Unfortunately, truck stops remain a frequent location of trafficking crimes. While truck stops are not naturally hives of crime, they are, unfortunately, convenient and central locations for traffickers to move throughout the United States.
